A Little Gardening Afternoon + AZUL COCONUT WATER

Hi guys, how’s your weekend so far? I hope everybody is having a good weekend. About me, I was a little tied up all day. I went to the mall and bought some back to school clothes for my boys. After that, I drove back home, did a little cleaning and a little organizing in both of my boys’ rooms. Once I was done there, I did the laundry too (it’s laundry day), Friday laundry!

After Sean’s work, we went to Wal-Mart and got some landscaping bricks and bags of soil for my little garden. By the way, the bricks are on clearance for $1.00 each. I told Sean that this is the best time to buy bricks. Whenever we decide to move somewhere, we have bricks for gardening, Hahahahaha sounds funny? Well, I’m serious!

KALABO (Philippine Oregano)
Kangkong (Water Spinach)
Malunggay (I transferred them to a bigger pot).
Basil

After working in my garden for an hour and a half I was really thirsty. I’m introducing my newest favorite drink. Not just my favorite but also Sean’s. It’s the AZUL COCONUT WATER from Dollar Tree. This drink has chunks of coconut pieces in it (which I love the most!)

Back home in the Philippines, we always drink coconut juice anytime it was available or offered to us. I’m not sure if you’re aware of it or not but coconut juice has a lot of health benefits to it. If you’re not aware of all the good benefits that coconut juice can give to our body, then it’s time to do a little research.

HEALTH BENEFITS OF COCONUT WATER:

  • Reduce blood pressure.
  • Support heart health.
  • Prevent kidney stones (very true, I experienced having this problem at such a young age. Drinking coconut juice helped a lot).
  • Have antioxidant properties
  • Have benefits against diabetes.

Coconut water is a great way to rehydrate after working out or after gardening, as I did. There are many more health benefits of coconut water which you can read about here.
