We are moving out of state soon. Yes, I have mixed emotions. I am so excited that Sean and I are finally settling down and be in our dream home with the boys. I am also sad to leave my really-really good friends here in Louisiana, who are my family and so dear to me. I’m so thankful to have found beautiful people who believe in me and the best in me. I will cherish them and their friendships as long as I live.
A brand new start in a new place is making me feel quite nervous; however, it is the right time to start a new beginning. I am so happy to start this new journey with Sean and the boys.♥♥♥
To those parent/parents like myself, we do everything we can so our children at least feel like everything are okay. We do everything we can to protect them, and to assure them to not be worry thinking about what’s going to happen tomorrow. And with schools, temporarily closed, we do everything to help our children continue learning from home.
Many times, I feel like I’m going to pull my hair off. Seriously, I’m sure it’s not just me who feels like doing it from time to time. I’m sure you are too! For now, this is our new normal. We must learn to accept all these new challenges as part of God’s way of molding us into something He wants us to be. Only God knows His purpose for allowing this to happen all over the world. We don’t know what His plan is. Whatever His plan is, we know we can trust Him.
I have two boys who don’t get along with each other most of the day. They don’t agree with everything! We -(parents) know that our kids can drive us nuts sometimes. These past weeks haven’t been easy for us all. For me, my patience is running thin. When I ‘m starting to feel it, I go to the bathroom, take a deep breath, and pray. I know, God is listening to all our cries. He is not deaf, and he will not turn his back on us. He is our ultimate healer, and He will bring healing not only this land but to all who called upon His name.
Had a great time with two of my friends. These ladies here are not only beautiful inside and out, but also fun to hangout with. Big thanks to my dear friend, Leah, for the food, fruits, and drink she prepared for Bliss and I. We had a blast!
I love, love, love this Gianni Bini faux fur jacket. I got this as a birthday gift from my friend, Helen, on my birthday a couple of weeks ago. This jacket is by far the most comfortable winter jacket I have ever worn. When I was doing this shoot (see pictures below), it was so windy and cold. At first, I did not even think that I would be able to stay outside a little longer, checking out new views to shoot, and also do my self-photo shoot. Thankfully, wearing this jacket helps me stay warm the whole time I was out. Also, since we are moving to Branson soon, this jacket will be my warmer for the next winter ♥♥♥.
Now, about this cute Cheeky Lime Ava bag/camera bag. It’s on sale right now. It used to be $85.00. However, right now it’s on sale for $29.99 ♥. Now, that’s a steal! Inside the bag, I can fit two camera lenses and the camera body, of course. I’m pleased with this purchase.

Yesterday’s weather was perfect! However, today’s climate here in Monroe and West Monroe is the total opposite of yesterday. It has been raining here since last night and the entire day today. Like I’ve always said, Oh my Louisiana weather! Today, it could be winter, and then the next day will be like Summertime. This sudden weather change makes a lot of people sick, you know?
Whenever the weather is like this, I honestly don’t want to go out at all. I don’t particularly like driving in the rain, and then deal with road traffic. It’s like I have a choice, well, too bad because I/we all have to deal with it sometimes. It’s part of our daily living. How about where you live? How’s the weather in your city?
A few days ago, my friend, Helen, called me and invited me for breakfast to this Latin restaurant just a few miles from where we both live. I always passed this place whenever I am driving around the area. However, I didn’t get the chance to stop by and try their food until this day.
It looks so small outside, but this restaurant has pretty good space inside. The place has a relaxing atmosphere, and it’s pretty clean too! The only downside is the parking area. The parking area is too small. You have to either park to the next building’s parking lot, or to the other side, which is a gas station.
I had a great time eating breakfast with my friends, Hele and Mishelle. They told me that the coffee is excellent. So I did have a coffee, and yes, it was good! I may have found a place to get a good coffee, after all. I also had an omelet for breakfast, and it goes with purple rice with beans in it. It’s called Morocco rice. It was pretty good. It reminded me of the purple rice back home (Philippines), we called it “Tapul,” meaning “Purple” in our region.
Later on that very same day, I told Sean about the place when he came home from work, and we decided to dine there for dinner. We had a good experience there. The food was excellent, and their menu prices are very reasonable. This place is worth checking out if you live in the West Monroe area and haven’t been to this place, you need to check this place out.
I can’t believe we haven’t been to this restaurant before because this place is incredible! This place is very clean. The food was tasty, and the service was outstanding. This place is by far the only restaurant (from all the restaurants we dined in) in the Twin Cities that has the best sausage, in my opinion. Their menu prices are very affordable, as well. I’m so glad Sean was able to find this place while randomly searching for restaurants in Monroe. We had a great time, and the food we ordered was fantastic! If you haven’t been to this place yet, be sure to give them a visit. The only thing I don’t like is the parking space. We had to park a little farther. However, if you don’t mind walking for a little bit, then it shouldn’t be a big deal. So, go ahead and visit this restaurant. ♥♥♥
We were so full and had so much fun at the Paragas’ beautiful home and a beautiful family. There was a time that I thought I would pee on myself laughing so hard. We could barely stop laughing. We ate, we sang karaoke, and we danced. We enjoyed each other’s company and conversations from 6:00 pm to 12:00 midnight. It was a great night, and we all had a blast! Of course, we were planning to do it again at least once a month and looking forward to doing it again with them♥♥♥.
How are you all doing, and how was your Monday? My Monday was pretty much about cleaning closets. I started working on my boys’ wardrobes and pulled out the clothes that they don’t wear and couldn’t wear anymore. Some of them I’m going to send out to the Philippines, and the rest will be donated. It felt so good and light after I finished my 8-year-old’s closet for today. It was a mess! Boys love pulling out clothes and throwing them everywhere if they don’t like them instead of putting them back where they got them. Picking up their clothes is a daily routine for this little momma here. Aside from cleaning closets, I went to Wal-Mart to get some groceries when the rain stopped pouring at about 4:30 pm. Yeah, we had nasty weather all day long, and today’s weather condition was the total opposite of yesterday. The weather yesterday was so beautiful! I had fun with the kids and the dog outside. They were running around in their sleeveless shirt, and I was in my shorts. Oh, Louisiana weather! To those who are driving in the rain, please be safe and drive carefully!
