We are moving out of state soon. Yes, I have mixed emotions. I am so excited that Sean and I are finally settling down and be in our dream home with the boys. I am also sad to leave my really-really good friends here in Louisiana, who are my family and so dear to me. I’m so thankful to have found beautiful people who believe in me and the best in me. I will cherish them and their friendships as long as I live.
A brand new start in a new place is making me feel quite nervous; however, it is the right time to start a new beginning. I am so happy to start this new journey with Sean and the boys.♥♥♥
I love, love, love this Gianni Bini faux fur jacket. I got this as a birthday gift from my friend, Helen, on my birthday a couple of weeks ago. This jacket is by far the most comfortable winter jacket I have ever worn. When I was doing this shoot (see pictures below), it was so windy and cold. At first, I did not even think that I would be able to stay outside a little longer, checking out new views to shoot, and also do my self-photo shoot. Thankfully, wearing this jacket helps me stay warm the whole time I was out. Also, since we are moving to Branson soon, this jacket will be my warmer for the next winter ♥♥♥.
Now, about this cute Cheeky Lime Ava bag/camera bag. It’s on sale right now. It used to be $85.00. However, right now it’s on sale for $29.99 ♥. Now, that’s a steal! Inside the bag, I can fit two camera lenses and the camera body, of course. I’m pleased with this purchase.

Hello everyone! How’s your weekend? For the past few days, we had lots of rain. So far, today we had light rain showers all day long, thank God! It’s just too nasty outside to do any outdoor activities. Also, I decided to stay home today instead of going to work. I am a little under the weather since I woke up this morning. You know, when you feel achy, you really don’t wanna do anything except stay on bed or on your couch all day with a cup of hot tea or hot chocolate. My whole day was definitely like that today. I hope these achy muscles will be better tomorrow.
Anyway, what is your favorite season of the year? Mine is the Fall season. I love the Fall colors around, and also the colder weather. Plus, when the sun is out, it’s not too hot. For me, it’s perfect! Last two weeks ago, we had our Fall season family pictures. I worked on those pictures last night. When you have little boys that won’t stay still for a photo and a dog that wants all the attention for herself, I think our family picture came out really good.
Hello everyone! How are you doing? I have been #MIA (missing in action) for a while due to so many things. Being a working mom is not easy. I’m sure all working moms out there can relate to this. Being a working mom, you seldom have time for yourself. Everything you do, you do it for your family and for your children (if you have any). And when you have supposedly “time for yourself,” well, you will still be doing stuff for your family. Anyway, it’s the reality of life, and I’m not complaining.
Anyway, I’m more grateful to God for everything that is happening in my life right now. It is very accurate; everything happens for a reason. So, I might be a very busy “working” mom, that’s because I have a dream. A dream not only for myself but for my children and their future, and also for everyone I love. And now, I’m back! Having my family as my inspiration, I’m so ready to face this new chapter in my life with a more positive attitude. Also, you’ll be seeing me blogging more often this time around, hahaha. I can’t wait to share you so many things that I always thought of sharing but didn’t because of doubt. See? #DOUBT kills your dream. Don’t let doubt stop you from achieving your goal. Be a go-getter!
It has been years since the last time I had seen this pretty young lady. Finally, after all those years I was able to see her again. Not only did I saw her, but also had a quick photoshoot of her. Luckily, I was able to capture a few photos of her when all of a sudden the rain poured on us. Our excitement was cut short, but it’s okay there is always another time.
Her name is Mia Nicole. Isn’t that a very pretty name?
It’s been a while since I’ve done some outdoor Fine Art photography and I’ve really missed doing it. The thing about Fine Art photography, for me, is that when I go out I need to have a lot of uninterrupted time for walking around, scoping out the surroundings, determining the right angles and finding the right location or subject to capture. Fine Art Photography is not about what the camera sees. It’s all about what the artist sees and feel.
To be honest, when I’m in that mood; I don’t want any distractions. I don’t want to feel rushed having to move from one place to another. Unfortunately, I can’t focus on doing that when I go out with my kiddos because my attention and focus will be on them. However, I’m going to do my best to re-engage in Fine Art photography and share it with you guys. Before I go, I would like to share a few of my Fine Art photography photos below. I know you’ll like them!
Thank you so much for stopping by!

Hello everyone! How was your weekend? I hope you and your family had a great and fun weekend together. About me and my family, we were a little busy. Sean and I are trying to keep up with the demands of the boys when it comes to going somewhere to have fun.
Since school is out for the Summer, my boys are constantly wanting to go somewhere. To be honest, it’s exhausting sometimes to go out in this heat. Nonetheless, taking them somewhere to have fun really helps me and Sean (especially me). Due to the fact that at home they constantly argue with each other, and they don’t agree with everything the other wants to do. Seriously, they’re like cat and dog fighting all the time. As a full time mom, they are my full time job. To those moms out there who have little boys, I’m so curious right now. Do your little boys fight or argue a lot?
After our train ride, we didn’t walk around the zoo much longer. The reason why? The boys were so ready to cool off and splash. When it comes to having fun in the water, they will not waist any time. IT’S SPLASH TIME!
I love capturing portrait and family photos but I’m a nature photographer at heart. Capturing nature photos, such as bayous, is very soothing for me. I call it my stress reliever. What is your stress reliever?
A few days ago I visited two bayous in my local area and I was surprised by what I saw. Both areas are supposed to have docks. However, that day I couldn’t see the docks. The water was so high that the docks were totally underwater. We had severe thunderstorms the day prior to my visiting the different bayous. Sadly, Ruston, our neighboring city, was hit by a tornado that spawned from the same storm that hit our city. That tornado took two lives – a mother and her son. Ruston is still recovering and needs our prayers.
Anyway, it was a bright and windy afternoon. I’m glad the humidity wasn’t bad at all. I was able to stay a little longer and enjoyed my time there. Below, are just a few bayou photos I took. I’m not done working on it but I thought I would share to you.
As I mentioned before, I love photography! I haven’t been working on my photography site for a while due to time management. Perhaps I need to work on it more to get better at it. I just want to share my artistic side and I hope you will visit my photography site. All feedbacks are welcome!
