Sometimes, in the hardest moments of our lives, we tend to keep things to ourselves. We don’t want to share what bothers us to our family nor to our closest friends because of our pride or ego. We usually say the words;
“I’m okay”, “I’m fine”, “I can manage myself”, and “I can handle it”.
Two reasons behind saying those words constantly are embarrassment and disappointment. We feel embarrassed to share the things that bother us the most to our family or to our closest friends because we are afraid they might judge, how will they react or will they even listen. On the other hand, we don’t want to be disappointed by not getting the help we need if we share what concerns us. That leads us to feel alone and in distress. This happens to every one of us. Sometimes, we forget that if no one else cares to listen to us, there is always someone up there that listens and that’s God.
The Bible verse below really blessed me. I hope this will bless you too. I’m also reading one of Max Lucado’s book Grace For The Moment. This book is full of inspirational thoughts and I feel so blessed to have it. In his book, he elaborated this verse very clearly. Be blessed everyone!
