We were speechifying this morning whether we should go to the Boardwalk in Shreveport, eat at Joe’s Crab Shack, or have lunch and take the boys somewhere closer. Maybe, if the weather were a little warmer, it would have been a big yes going to Shreveport. But with this nasty and windy weather, kids don’t enjoy much (I know them very well, lol ). So, we decided to go to the mall and get some food first before heading to Tilt Studio. Of course, when they heard that we are taking them to Tilt Studio, they couldn’t wait for long, hahaha. We want them to have fun, plus they love this place (Tilt Studio) very much! Seeing them having fun and enjoying every moment of it is everything for us. We had a perfect Saturday!
Hi guys, and how are you doing? I have been a little busy these past few days, especially today. I have my clients’ photos that I need to finish and be ready by Tuesday. Also, tomorrow is back to school for my kiddos. So, this day is one of those multitasking days. Not just that, I wasn’t feeling since last night until earlier this evening, but I need to get things done. So I must say, I am restless today.
Anyway, I want to share my first eyeshadow tutorial with you guys. I always love makeup stuff but never get the chance to make any tutorial about it because I feel awkward sometimes about sharing my makeup routine to the world. Well, some of my friends were asking me if I could make an easy tutorial on how I do my makeup. So, here it is! I hope you will give this video a thumbs up if ever you will like it. If not, no worries! ♥♥♥ All product details I am using in this tutorial are listed on the screen.
HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL! Last week, we were finally able to check the house in Branson, Missouri, that’s on the market. Sean and I had been browsing homes in Branson online, but we always come back to this one house that we checked last week. When we first saw this house posted on the market, we both looked at each other and, at the same time, said, “Oh, this house is beautiful!” We’ve been praying for this house since we saw it on the market, and we are still praying continuously for this specific house.
“When you pray for something, be specific.”
When we were at the house location, we were almost speechless. Built-in 1978, this gorgeous home is ready to move-in. Very well taken care of, and 90-95% completed. Even the basement is fully functional. It has an open space inside with lots and lots of storage cabinets — at least four bathrooms. The master bathroom size shocked us the most – it’s like another master bedroom size, golly! We fell in love with the antique vibe of this house. I think the only words that came out from my mouth the whole time were, “oh, my goodness!”And, so as Sean. Well, see what’s going to happen next. We will continue to pray and let God do the rest.
We eyeballed that house for an hour. After the house viewing, we went to the boardwalk and had fun for a little bit. It was a great day for us!
Seven hours of road trip sounds very tiring, especially when you have kids (two boys and one dog). They were good, and so behaved all the way. Even my 8-year-old didn’t take a nap at all. He was looking with all those road signs, including the distance signs on how many miles more to go to Springfield, Mo. It was a very peaceful trip — no kid’s fight at the back seat; no argument regarding their toys; and most of all, our fur-baby (dog) was such a good rider all the way. That was one good trip. We are so proud of them!♥♥♥
I want to be honest with you all; I don’t know all of the 50 U.S states abbreviations. Seriously, guys, my 8-year-old son knows all the States’ abbreviations more than I do. He learned all of it just by watching the weather channel many times every single day when he gets the chance to have the TV-controller. He and his big brother are so obsessed with checking weather temperatures not just in our area but also in other states. Sometimes, they are also reviewing other countries weather temperature. We don’t even have to check the next day’s weather prediction, because of the boys telling us “oh, it’s going to be a little warmer tomorrow, and we don’t need to wear a jacket.” Or they would say, it’s going to be partly cloudy all day today or tomorrow with a 30% chance of rain.” They are both very observant, and they are really into it. Perhaps, watching the Weather Channel helps my little one learned all of the 50 states’ abbreviations. Aside from the States abbreviations, he also knows the capital cities and what state each capital city located. I’m shocked! You can ask me about it, and my answer would be, “I don’t know!” Hahaha! I might need to watch the Weather Channel too, lol.
50 States Guide: Where To Go, When To Go, What To See, What To Do.
Before, I used to talk to myself when I’m all alone in the house. Whenever Sean works in the office, and the boys are in school, I’m home all by myself; and I talk to myself most of the time. But since last year, when Sean brought Daisy (our dog) home, everything changed. She is so sweet and such a mommy’s girl. Daisy loves to sleep on my lap whenever she can. She will compete with the boys and always wins ♥♥♥.

Wow! Where has the time gone? It seemed like it was only yesterday that I had an emergency C-Section when I was 25-1/2 weeks pregnant with my eldest son, who then weighed only 1lb-7oz, and stayed 4 -1/2 months at the hospital. And now, he is 11-years-old? No wonder why my knees are hurting, and my bones are cracking. Oh my, I’m old! Tsk..tsk..tsk. Although I’m feeling old, however, I’m so blessed to have two angels in my life!
His birthday was yesterday, but we celebrated it on Sunday so everybody ( friends ) can come and celebrate with us after church service. My son was so happy! He was smiling from ear to ear the whole time. He even said, “Mommy, I’m so happy today!” That was just a touching moment for me. He used to be quiet and doesn’t give his birthday a big deal. On that day, he was so expressive of his emotion. He had a blast!
Thanks to everybody who joined us celebrating my son’s birthday. You made him very happy too! Thankful to some of my friends who brought dishes and dessert. Also, to those who cooked and even washed dishes and clean the kitchen. You guys rocked! Glad to see everybody had fun, as well. God bless you all!
