Yay, we finally moved into our new home! And it will be our first week tomorrow since we moved in. I’m sure you know moving is not an easy thing. It’s very stressful and very tiring. Right now, we are trying to regain our strength back. Me, personally? I haven’t had a nap for three weeks now, and I feel drained! I told Sean, I don’t want to rush unpacking all the boxes and decorate the house because there’s no need to rush. Since we are here already, we need to take it slow and to give our body time to recover and regain strength. Well, my body is telling me I’m tired, and yes, I am! I lost three pounds just from packing things alone. I am a petite, skinny woman, and losing three pounds is not good news for me because I don’t want to look thinner than I already am.
Anyways, we are so grateful to all our friends and family members who helped us. We couldn’t have done it without them.♥♥♥ I’m so thankful to God for the help He sent. Glory and honor back to Him.
Few more days and we are moving to this beautiful home. Thank you, Lord! Of all the house listings we checked, this is the only home that Sean and I both admired so much. We both fell in love to this house since the very first time we found this house online. And usually, when you’re viewing good house photos online, they doesn’t always look the same when you see it in person. When we checked this house for the first time, we were shocked! It’s more beautiful than we expected. We are so grateful we found this beautiful home. To God be the glory!
I love throw pillows. Sometimes when I go to the store to look for throw pillows that I like I get disappointed because they’re pricy! One day, I was sitting on the couch and this idea of making throw pillows just flew into my head. So I was like “why not? I always have this confidence that I can do it. I’m a seamstress’ daughter and if my mom can do it, I can too! Sounds funny right? But yes, I’m determined. So, the next day I went to get some materials at Hobby Lobby.
This 12 ounce Premium Polyester Fiberfill is only $2.99 per package. One package is enough for one throw pillow. It depends on your preferences though. If you want your throw pillow to be fuller (more stuffy as I call it haha) then you can always add more stuffing inside.
Premium Polyester Fiberfill is absolutely the best performing fiberfill for pillows, dolls, stuffed toys and crafts. It offers a superior resiliency, smooth consistency, and will not bunch. It’s made from recycled materials, and it is hypoallergenic and machine-washable. Add it to toys, pillows, and much more!
I used two bandanas for each throw pillow. This bandana cost 0.99 cents only! Although you can use any material you choose. There are more expensive materials to choose if you want. For me, I just wanted to make something using inexpensive materials.
I’m going to start with these following questions.
Do you like to cook?
How often do you cook?
Are you comfortable moving around your kitchen when cooking?
Do you have the space you need to move around in your kitchen while cooking?
I actually asked those questions to myself often, and here are my answers.
Do you like to cook? – Yes, I love to cook!
How often do you cook? – I used to cook everyday but not anymore.
Are you comfortable moving around your kitchen? – To be honest, no! I’m claustrophobic. I’m can’t stay in my kitchen for long without feeling dizzy, getting headache and the fact that I will start getting clumsy.
Do you have the space you need to move around in your kitchen while cooking? -The answer in no. As a mentioned above I’m claustrophobic. I love a spacious kitchen where I can freely move without tripping; without getting headache; and without feeling dizzy. I always feel like that when I’m in a small space. I have two little boys, and when they are in the kitchen with me I’m always trying to out just to take deep breath.
Having this kind of issue, I just wish we have a bigger kitchen! Browsing online for kitchen ideas is very helpful. There are 5 best kitchen ideas I picked. My picked might not be your style. Everyone is different; everyone have different style. However, if I win in lottery, one of these designs will be my kitchen look. I wish….I wish….I wish!
Okay, here’s my picks. All images below are linked to the websites where I found these ideas.
Having two little boys, I find myself struggling to keep them from throwing their coats everywhere. Especially this winter season. Of course, the rule is to have them hang their coats right on their closet door knobs when they’re not using or done using their coats. But, hello? Does it work? The answer is No! I always get disappointed to see their coats on the floor. In my mind, there’s gotta be a solution for this.
On new year’s day, I went to my favorite store Hobby Lobby to look for greats deals. I’m talking about the markdowns after Christmas. Yes, a lot of markdowns and I was hyped up with the 75% – 80% off deals. Oh, I know a lot of moms out there can relate with my excitement. Fortunately, I also found a wooden coat rack. Lucky me to be able to get the three racks left. I couldn’t wait to have them installed in my boys room and in our bedroom as well. I would say it works!
I love the color of it and it goes well with the wall color. It’s perfect! Plus, my boys liked it. Until next time and have a good night!
