Hello everyone! How’s your weekend? For the past few days, we had lots of rain. So far, today we had light rain showers all day long, thank God! It’s just too nasty outside to do any outdoor activities. Also, I decided to stay home today instead of going to work. I am a little under the weather since I woke up this morning. You know, when you feel achy, you really don’t wanna do anything except stay on bed or on your couch all day with a cup of hot tea or hot chocolate. My whole day was definitely like that today. I hope these achy muscles will be better tomorrow.
Anyway, what is your favorite season of the year? Mine is the Fall season. I love the Fall colors around, and also the colder weather. Plus, when the sun is out, it’s not too hot. For me, it’s perfect! Last two weeks ago, we had our Fall season family pictures. I worked on those pictures last night. When you have little boys that won’t stay still for a photo and a dog that wants all the attention for herself, I think our family picture came out really good.
It has been years since the last time I had seen this pretty young lady. Finally, after all those years I was able to see her again. Not only did I saw her, but also had a quick photoshoot of her. Luckily, I was able to capture a few photos of her when all of a sudden the rain poured on us. Our excitement was cut short, but it’s okay there is always another time.
Her name is Mia Nicole. Isn’t that a very pretty name?
Hello everyone! How was your weekend? I hope you and your family had a great and fun weekend together. About me and my family, we were a little busy. Sean and I are trying to keep up with the demands of the boys when it comes to going somewhere to have fun.
Since school is out for the Summer, my boys are constantly wanting to go somewhere. To be honest, it’s exhausting sometimes to go out in this heat. Nonetheless, taking them somewhere to have fun really helps me and Sean (especially me). Due to the fact that at home they constantly argue with each other, and they don’t agree with everything the other wants to do. Seriously, they’re like cat and dog fighting all the time. As a full time mom, they are my full time job. To those moms out there who have little boys, I’m so curious right now. Do your little boys fight or argue a lot?
After our train ride, we didn’t walk around the zoo much longer. The reason why? The boys were so ready to cool off and splash. When it comes to having fun in the water, they will not waist any time. IT’S SPLASH TIME!
I love capturing portrait and family photos but I’m a nature photographer at heart. Capturing nature photos, such as bayous, is very soothing for me. I call it my stress reliever. What is your stress reliever?
A few days ago I visited two bayous in my local area and I was surprised by what I saw. Both areas are supposed to have docks. However, that day I couldn’t see the docks. The water was so high that the docks were totally underwater. We had severe thunderstorms the day prior to my visiting the different bayous. Sadly, Ruston, our neighboring city, was hit by a tornado that spawned from the same storm that hit our city. That tornado took two lives – a mother and her son. Ruston is still recovering and needs our prayers.
Anyway, it was a bright and windy afternoon. I’m glad the humidity wasn’t bad at all. I was able to stay a little longer and enjoyed my time there. Below, are just a few bayou photos I took. I’m not done working on it but I thought I would share to you.
Today was the first Ouachita Live Outdoor Concert hosted by Downtown West Monroe Revitalization Group featuring Emily Musolino. The event was located at Miss Kay’s Sweets & Eats in Antique Alley – West Monroe. For me, the location was just perfect and relaxing! This is my first time listening to Emily Musolino. I was so amazed at how good she is vocally and how she rocked her guitar. She’s incredible!
