I love, love, love this Gianni Bini faux fur jacket. I got this as a birthday gift from my friend, Helen, on my birthday a couple of weeks ago. This jacket is by far the most comfortable winter jacket I have ever worn. When I was doing this shoot (see pictures below), it was so windy and cold. At first, I did not even think that I would be able to stay outside a little longer, checking out new views to shoot, and also do my self-photo shoot. Thankfully, wearing this jacket helps me stay warm the whole time I was out. Also, since we are moving to Branson soon, this jacket will be my warmer for the next winter ♥♥♥.
Now, about this cute Cheeky Lime Ava bag/camera bag. It’s on sale right now. It used to be $85.00. However, right now it’s on sale for $29.99 ♥. Now, that’s a steal! Inside the bag, I can fit two camera lenses and the camera body, of course. I’m pleased with this purchase.

Hi all, I have been MIA for days on my blog. I had been a busy and exhausted mom for days. School is out for Thanksgiving break, and you (parent/parents) know what that means. My boys are like “mommy, mommy, mommy all day long.” Especially my little one, he can talk all day long for sure. The only time I have a break from them is when they are napping and when they are in bed at night, hehe. But I love them to the moon and back.
Anyway, last Saturday, I had so much fun capturing my dear friend and her daughter’s Christmas mini session. You can check this session here. The location I chose was the Dilliard’s store. It was a perfect location for this session. Dilliard’s has a wide variety of lovely Christmas decorations throughout their store. It was just perfect!
Have you ever heard of the Nygard brand? I’m wearing Nygard denim pants. When it comes to pants, I have been a Nygard’s biggest fan for 4 years now. I love every Nygard leggings and pants that I have. So worth the price! You should try this brand. I highly recommend this brand.
Look, I don’t think you have to buy expensive items of clothing to look presentable, stylish, or fashionable. You can be wearing the most expensive outfit, but if you don’t look good in it, what’s the point of that expensive tag price? I’m not sarcastic. I’m just being realistic! Hey, I don’t look good all the time, and that’s the reality. Also, I’m so careful about what to wear because of my 10-year-old son who critics my outfit if he doesn’t like it ♥♥♥.
Yesterday was a little chilly, and wearing a thick coat wasn’t necessary at all. You know, Louisiana weather, right? It could be Winter today, then the next day it feels like mid-summer! One crazy weather, I would say.
About this plaid coat, the material is light and soft. I was wearing a size XS. The mock-top, I had to get a size Small because the XS is a little too tight. It makes me feel like an egg roll (wrapped up so tight), lol! This Elasticized Waist Skinny Pants is true to size. I got the XS, and it’s perfect!
When I was in my teenage years until in my late twenties (20’s), I always loved carrying bigger bags and bigger purses. My friends and other family members would comment about it by saying, “You’re bag/purse is bigger than you, girl.” Those comments did not bother me at all. And now that I’m in my thirties (30’s), I don’t carry bigger purses anymore. As much as I love it, my shoulder says something else. You know, we call it “age,” hehe.
Lately, I’m into small purses (one reason to avoid shoulder pain talk). One of the newest cute purse in my collection is the Ardel Wooden Top Handle Faux Leather Bag by Sole Society. I love the quality of this baby and how lightweight it is. The first thing that caught my attention was the wooden handles. Those handles simply add details to the whole look of this cute purse. Plus, it was on sale when I got it. And yes, I will definitely get another color of this style when it is back in stock.
Hi everyone, how’s your Friday so far? I hope you are doing well! Mother’s day is Sunday. To all moms including myself, HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY TO US! I’m a mom of two little boys and they are my precious gifts from God. They are the reason why I stayed strong despite all the motherhood trials. I’m so grateful to God for having them in my life.
Anyway, for this post I would like to share three of my new favorites for this week.
This might not be my favorite season of the year because for me it’s my “allergy season.” But regardless, it’s my well-wished season because it’s the only way out from Winter. Today, I had a photoshoot session with two of my most favorite girls in town – Elvie and Leah. I had to be dressed up too so that I could also partake in the shoot, hahaha. As always we had so much fun together. These girls are so fun to be around with!
This coat is very comfortable. At first, I thought this is going to be heavy because it looks thicker on the picture. Surprisingly, it’s not! Actually, this coat is very light. The material is soft and not so thick. By the way, I’m wearing the Extra-Small (XS) size and it’s perfect! I don’t think it runs big or runs small. The fitting is true to size and I’m happy with it.
The length of these pants is a little too long for me. I had to cut about one inch to get the right length. I’m only 4 foot and 11 inches so I don’t need long pants. Is there anyone else who can relate to this? Okay, let’s proceed to how comfortable these pants are. Actually, I love it! It’s a little stretchy and comfortable. I’m wearing the Extra-Small (2) size.
Fit Type: Skinny
Composition: 70% Cotton, 23% Nylon, and 7% Spandex
Shopping at a thrift store or in short “thrifting” is not for everybody. Some people don’t even wanna hear the word “thrift store”. Some people loves it. I’m one of those people who love thrift stores. Every time I shops at a thrift store I always get out with a very big smile, and always proud with the stuff I found. Just don’t be afraid to dig and get your hands dusty/dirty.
Below, I’m gonna share with you my shopping tips before I go to any thrift store.
START WITH A PLAN
Don’t just go to a thrift store or even in any other store without a plan. Think about what you want to look for. Be specific and write it down. I have to write down stuff all the time otherwise I forget. Yes, I’m that forgetful (sounds awful right?). One of my biggest for writing down what I want is to have a guide also. I love vintage stuff. Honestly, they’re like candies to me. But having a guide or note I can actually focus and prioritize what’s on my list.
BE READY TO GET YOUR HANDS DUSTY/DIRTY
To those who hasn’t been to a thrift store, get ready. Sometimes the dust can be overwhelming. Some thrift stores ain’t that dusty, but some are, just saying. If you’re not willing to get your hands dusty or dirty, then you should stick to shopping at the mall or a boutique.
TAKE YOUR TIME
Thrift store can be overwhelming. I spend an hour or two every time I’m thrifting. So, before you even go thrifting, make sure that you have plenty of time to spare for it. No need to rush, there’s no fun thrifting if you’re rushing. You might miss a diamond somewhere because you’re rushing and don’t wanna look around, hahaha. There’s plenty of great stuff or great deals at any thrift store that’s worth checking out. Time, time, time….because baby, all you need is time.
CHECK YOUR PICKS
Once you found the stuff from your list don’t get too excited. One thing you should do first before you even check out is to check your items. Make sure there’s no holes, ripped stitches, or stains. Ripped stitches ain’t that bad if you can sew then great! I can’t stand stains so I always check my picks not just once just to be sure.
ALWAYS THANK THE PERSON AT THE REGISTER WHEN CHECKING OUT
Before leaving the store, always thank the person at the register with the great deals you have found. Everyone loves to hear that. It lighten up someone’s day.

Now, if you’re planning to go thrifting take your time and have fun!
