Yesterday’s weather was perfect! However, today’s climate here in Monroe and West Monroe is the total opposite of yesterday. It has been raining here since last night and the entire day today. Like I’ve always said, Oh my Louisiana weather! Today, it could be winter, and then the next day will be like Summertime. This sudden weather change makes a lot of people sick, you know?
Whenever the weather is like this, I honestly don’t want to go out at all. I don’t particularly like driving in the rain, and then deal with road traffic. It’s like I have a choice, well, too bad because I/we all have to deal with it sometimes. It’s part of our daily living. How about where you live? How’s the weather in your city?
We were glad the boys sat the whole time while watching Dolittle though my eight-year-old was a little wiggly for minutes. But, he finally settles down when he moved to another empty seat. I guess he wants to be on his own, lol, he is a little independent. And about the movie, we all enjoyed it! It’s a perfect family movie, especially for the little ones ♥♥♥.
HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL! Last week, we were finally able to check the house in Branson, Missouri, that’s on the market. Sean and I had been browsing homes in Branson online, but we always come back to this one house that we checked last week. When we first saw this house posted on the market, we both looked at each other and, at the same time, said, “Oh, this house is beautiful!” We’ve been praying for this house since we saw it on the market, and we are still praying continuously for this specific house.
“When you pray for something, be specific.”
When we were at the house location, we were almost speechless. Built-in 1978, this gorgeous home is ready to move-in. Very well taken care of, and 90-95% completed. Even the basement is fully functional. It has an open space inside with lots and lots of storage cabinets — at least four bathrooms. The master bathroom size shocked us the most – it’s like another master bedroom size, golly! We fell in love with the antique vibe of this house. I think the only words that came out from my mouth the whole time were, “oh, my goodness!”And, so as Sean. Well, see what’s going to happen next. We will continue to pray and let God do the rest.
We eyeballed that house for an hour. After the house viewing, we went to the boardwalk and had fun for a little bit. It was a great day for us!
Seven hours of road trip sounds very tiring, especially when you have kids (two boys and one dog). They were good, and so behaved all the way. Even my 8-year-old didn’t take a nap at all. He was looking with all those road signs, including the distance signs on how many miles more to go to Springfield, Mo. It was a very peaceful trip — no kid’s fight at the back seat; no argument regarding their toys; and most of all, our fur-baby (dog) was such a good rider all the way. That was one good trip. We are so proud of them!♥♥♥
